Don't want those dudes to get the IP rights to my ideas that will be used in my own system. Much happier just sharing here and leaving them to their overpriced gear and 10cm deep grow-beds.

silly you veggie boy, you not entering just means there is more chance of winning for us that did go to the effort of entering!! Couldn't find the 10cm grow beds that you mention, nor the place that says they own your IP. I see it as a great opportunity to win some cool prizes that will improve my aquaponics system.

Regards
Stuart.

Thanks Stuart. I agree that I am somewhat prone to exageration. I was talking about condition # 10:

'10. By entering his/her footage and photographs to this competition, the competitor is agreeing to Aquaponics.tv and Aquaponics.com.au using the submitted material in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.'

Also the grow-bed is 13cm deep - much deeper than I claimed. Do you want me to post a picture?

I know it does not sign away IP rights. It is a smart move to be able to provide some examples of great systems on the aquaponics.com.au website - which is fair enough and one would expect no less.

I'd prefer not to enter though (wouldn't win anyway - not that that is the point I was making). I should not really have aired my opinion in open forum and for that I am sorry.

BTW - would love to see your system 'Stuart' ;-)

veggie boy - My system is already entered into the competition, although looking at the other entries, I don't think I have much chance of winning.
Regards
Stuart.

Wonder if F&F will refuse to accept new (ie not recycled) stuff - on principle :-)
