yeah but my pump can also be connected externally if need be.

But then again if i run CF i'll never have them completely draining and the pump can just work and top up the FT

True. But you will want the growbeds to drain should the power or pump fail and therefore you will need a sump large enough keep the pump submerged and handle the volume of the beds as they drain.

Can't wait to see it finished.

It's looking well planed.

it will be enough to handle four full grow beds completely draining in the event of extended power outages. plus i'll have some backup pumps just in case

i won't have it finished before christmas and then i'll be away for a couple of weeks. i'd love to get it cycling before i go away but its not looking likely.

decided tonight not to add the windows... don't need any leaks in the shed and if i wan't is to happen quicker then i have to cut out the fancy bits

Fish Tank cage in the corner (will be raised 400mm approx)
Sump Tank in position.
Just need to cut the top out of the fish tank now and then start the plumbing!!

Well after a few weeks not touching the build i got onto it again today.

a trip to the big B (late last year and again today) saw everything acquired!!

the fish tank raised and in it original location but that changed as per usual

Still need to finish them but its getting there!!

Progress!!

Installed SLO outlets, placed growbed at approx height to ensure SLO feed was at right height.
Plumbed SLOs, just need to finish them off with lots of slots, same with the stone guard.
