and here is todays video :) . the guppies are so much bigger and the lettuce looks pillaged lol
i am expecting some babies from the guppies soon :) .... then in another couple months : perch food :twisted:

i picked that 3 days ago so that is the growth rate i am getting out of my nft aquaponics . but keep in mind i have slowed it down alot by adding the foxtail aquatic plant to my main tank :) .... ( other wise i get swamped with lettuce and i dont know know what to do with it all )

i also have my first strawberry flower woot woot > how long does it take for the fruit to fully develop ? i want strawberrys now ! :P

woop woop , i just found a aquatic snail in my nft pvc pipes :)

i added some little aquatic snails from the guppie tank (they have been breeding rapidly) probably about a month ago,to my top tank above my nft (the white one) in the hope of them breeding up and cleaning my nft pipes for me .

when the eventually reach the main tank they will turn into perch food :)

but untill then i get free cleaning of my pvc pipes :)

woot woot . im stoked , my plan worked XD ... i just thought i would write this down so that in future i know what i did that was successfull :) .

and in other news we are moving house in a month :) .... its finally time to upgrade ! huzzah ! i have an ibc waiting for me ! i want to start planning for a new system but incorporate my nft pipes into it . i am thinking i might turn my 200 L FT into a ST and have the top of the ibc F&D :/
is it possible to have CF on my pipes and FD on the GB ?

my system still kicking along . i might extend it soon ... i have a few ibc's around so that might be the option i go with .
