is this pic current?

It looks like the trees at the treeline are all dying in a line, then not dying past them. At first I thought deciduous and coniferous but i see deciduous in the green section. Is that a power line right of way or anything that a utility company might spray?

I know i'm grasping at (pine) straw but trying to help...

Not a bad point really..

Looks like the powerline is killing everything in its path... might be an illusion.

Thanks guys, but the power line company does not spray there, I won't let them. What you are seeing is the pine (they stay green all year) and the oaks and sweet gum leaves have turned brown for winter. We are almost through our fall colors on the trees. I don't believe it is any chemicals. 2 of my 3 tanks are fine with no deaths. Only this one tank has ever had any problems. I have pulled out everything that is not PVC from the tank. The only things that where not pvc where those 2 black strainers.

Im sure its not chemical leaching of any kind.

Iv e had plenty of plastics in my FT and GB's that is not fish safe. Usually there are some little plastic batman's and toy cars etc that I don't spot for months. I think plastic contamination is a very long term kinda thing.

Im still thinking temp. Its the only difference I can think of between the other FT's. Although you wouldn't think the small temp difference would effect them. I really dont know to be honest

It is the warmer of the tanks. The 900 gallon stock tank I have above ground has a much larger temperature swing. My big tank is very slow to move either direction, but now with the greenhouse my water temps are going above 70 and holding. This morning the big tank was 72F.

Here are some pics of the grow beds.

It must be ALIENS!!!

Y'all get those out there in Texas dontcha?

Only thing that makes sense. Some durn alien stopped and washed his illudium P38 space modulator in your large tank and the residue killed your fish.

:)

P.S. even a nonsensical answer seems better than no answer. Nice looking tomatoes, BTW

Thanks, I just have no other idea what it could be. I did another 500 gallon water change yesterday and resalted back up to 3PPT. There are I think 3 tilapia in this 1500 gallon tank, at least that is all I can seem to count. No deaths last night. If these survive a few months I am going to add some more. I have two right now inside that have eggs in their mouths.

Are all the dying fish in this state. I don't know anything about talapia but I do know that trout die after becoming egg bound around 2 years old in a recirculating system. How long have you has these guys, must be over a year now... whats the life expectancy of a talapia in a closed loop system?

Sorry... just shooting blind now lol ....... a little like this guy.

LMAO, thanks. Any thoughts are very welcome. I have had these for 11 months now, but I think tilapia can live many years in captivity. These where young, about 4 months old my older ones are in the IBC next to this tank.

LMAO, I was in the fish tank yesterday. 70F water is cold when the greenhouse is 100F. I am just going to keep making changes until they stop dying I guess. I have no other ideas. Heck I don't even know of anything else I could change.

Oh, I did find one thing yesterday (actually 2) I had 2 metal screws above the water holding up a plastic strap and the screws where rusted pretty bad. They where not in contact with the water, but I guess humidity made them rust. I have removed them from the top of the tank.

Thanks

Did you say it is getting 100F in your greenhouse? Do you have any ventiliation? If your pumping stale/hot air into the tanks from your air pumps then the dissolved oxygen levels will suffer.
