Hello all !!!!!!!

I am Faisal from U.A.E. I am new in aquaponics. I would to start by setting up a small set of aquaponics.
I was watching many videos from youtube, and was reading about many technique.

I would love to hear from you. (any advise, link to learn more, more videos etc ). Pls, do suggest me any setup you think will be good for someone new like me.

Welcome, best suggestion I can give is have a look through members systems at the different set ups. What you can get for grow beds and fish tanks as well as area you have for the system will be your main guide to what style of system you will build. Cheers.

I am just down the road from you in Dubai! :wave1:

It is a very good concept for this part of the world where water is in short supply.

Hi ccBear and Dandharma,

I am really glad for your reply. I was looking at many different small small system over the last few weeks. I actually became really confused, so here is some question i would like to know.

Does a small system worth of trying, in the beginning i was really planning for small system like something of a fish tank 25 gallon?

Yes definatley, you can grow herbs and leafy salad vegetables no problems. All a good learning curve, many of our members have small systems so keep reading through the Members System section for advise and ideas. Cheers

And if you combine this with plants from Satwa (or Sharjah) and water pump from DragonMart, then this is all you need!!
I estimate my whole system cost little more than 1500 AED
