I had to eat one of the fish this one was way too aggressive and had black markings on him which would have gotten passed to other generations and i don't want that i want nice pink fish.

He was 11in and tasted nice in a fish cutter

Ice them (Immerse in very icy water for 15 minutes or so) or cut the head off first. They don't wiggle so much for the rest of it, then.

Recipe for 'fish cutter'?

A 'cutter' is a bajan specialty, any thing in between a 'salt bread' so if ham was inbtween it would be a 'ham cutter.' a salt bread is a bun so it is basically a sandwidge

CG, I just barfed on my keyboard. Put the little guy in ice water to get him to the deep sleep then cut the head off first! :sad5:

CG, you need a sharp knife and some filleting lessons before you attack the next one. OMG

CG perhaps an iki jimi spike would be better.
If you haven't seen one, it's basically a stainless steel sharpened bar(think knitting needle with handle) insert it behind the eye socket and up a bit.
This goes into the brain of the fish ending it fairly quick

Being that you're CB, I can understand that things are done differently where you are. The video was pretty gruesome; but I can see why you made it, and it's still valuable. I think everyone needs to realize that everyone doesn't have access to the right tools at the right time (when it's time to eat).
That being said, you DO have access to said info, and I hope that you'll be more conscience of people's affinity for their fish(not that that should be any real concern of yours). It was a fairly brutal film, and I hope you can understand why.
I hope we can start a thread on how to "properly" clean a fish for eating. In the meantime, let me say that the fish-cleaning is the reason I'm leaning towards any type of yabbie/crawfish/crawdad farming (no need to clean, just pop them on the grill live[i'm sure someone will say I should "spike" them first]) and enjoy!
