cutting holes in glass I have seen a few threads lateley on cutting holes in aquariams years ago i cut a lot of holes in bottles for lamps so decided to try an experement got an old sheet of glass house glass the resulting hole was done freehand using this method its possable to cut a 1 in hole in under a minute all you need is a sand blaster about $30.00 at super cheep auto if you want a neat hole flash it with a bit of tin with the dia hole you want check the two photos

how strong is the glass that goes white F&F? You are right, if a hole was cut in tin to size, it would be magnificent. How far from the glass did you hold the tip of the sandblaster? Have you got a pick of it?
