The reality is that ginkgo does nothing for the brain, but caffeine does stimulate the brain. That is why intellectual types tend to hang out at coffee houses as opposed to bars. I'm trying to remember where I read that. Anyways, as a caffeine addict, I refuse to believe any research that says otherwise :bootyshake:

I got hooked on coffee when I was working third-shift. I was also working a second shift job which meant typically 100+ hours a week. I think I had 10% coffee in my bloodstream back then.

It wasn't until my boss woke me up while I was standing up against a wall that I realized that coffee could only do so much. Sleep is also needed. LOL

I've heard a few people claim that we have modern society because of beer.

I like the caffeine theory as well... Beer for the great ideas, caffeine for actually getting them done.
