Hello All.

I'm getting in to aquaponics here soon. In fact, I'm supposed to pick up an 8-person spa today that will be the foundation of the system. It is 7'x7'x3.5', so it should make a fairly adequate fish tank for the small backyard system I am designing.

I'm in Sun City, Arizona. We're out in the heat of the dessert, so water and good soil are at a premium. Fish is outrageously expensive, but is so tasty. It's time to take yet another step towards self-sufficiency. We purchased three chicks about two months ago, so the eggs should be coming here in the next few months.

See you all later.
Scott

At this moment, there is no progress. It's part of a concrete slab that was the prior owner's boat driveway. I pick up the spa sometime today, but the rest won't come for a few months. I have to finish my chicken coop first.

Thanks for the welcoming!

One thing at a time. I have one large chicken coupe, and need another. With all the chickens, ducks, geese and turkey sharing the coupe it is getting crowded. They do free range during the day, but at night they are packed in there.

Nice to see another visitor from the Valley of the Sun. It gives me hope that AP is spreading here. Welcome!
