Well to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if these fish are going on the dinner table. These were more for learning and experimenting. Since I have never had fish before, I thought it would be better to start small, and learn the hard lessons now, versus learning them later and losing a whole system.

I've had a very limited budget and a very skeptical wife on this project. I'm hoping the fish I have will start breeding, and hopefully I will successfully raise the fry, and those will be headed for the dinner table.

Please keep all of the suggestions coming.

I must be wrong then. Last time I read up on it it seemed it won't work. Some more web searching brings up conflicting opinions, with many saying it does work...
