I reckon that is a good use for an ironing board. It is the second time that I have seen one used in conjuction with aquaponics. The first time was Rick in Narrogin, may have been for cleaning his fish as the height is adjustable. It's a pity that I threw mine out years ago.

Ha Ha, good for a laugh bear. I can assure you that Bear does nice work. Having worked his trade as a boilermaker I can see his skills being applied in his AP. He has sat on the sideline for a long time and gleened the cream from everyones system and applied it here.

And now we get it all together and working, started by connecting the sump and pumping straight to the grow beds until I finished the fish tank

This looking from the sump up to the GBs. The gravel still has to be returned to the GB after testing.

Bear, I meant to tell you about a product I have used called "Kneedit" an epoxy mixture that is mixed together for sealing leaks. Can even use it under water for sealing leak in a boat. Was thinking could have used it instead of redoing the GB. Maybe next time.

With the storm last night and heavy rain continuing I have just check my system. Every thing appears ok but no dought the water will be diluted with all this rain. With the current storm front we have at lest 3 hours more of rain.

On the positive side I have used about 4500 litres of water from my bottom tanks to set up the system, these are now over flowing so we are back to full tanks down the bottom. House tank still has a bit to go but it may fill by the end of today if it keeps raining.
