Arbe here is one for you, this is the bottom of one tank which has been replaced. came home from the mines one week and my two tanks were interconnected through the bottom valves. when I knocked to check water height I wondered why they both sounded hollow and empty.

This would hold about 10,000 litres

Found this tank with a one metre split from the bottom up and about 300mm along the bottom

Lost 44,000 litres of water during the drought and left with only one tank out of 4 full

Drilled in the tube from the inside charlie, a bit time comsuming but to good effect. Small hole through both walls of the tube then a larger hole to take the head of the screw which sits inside the tube. That way there is no rubbing against the bladder. Cheers

Was not looking forward to washing the gravel. between the back and knee replacements limitation were to much. Needed something to make it easier without the bending over.

Would wash the gravel one 10 litre bucket at a time, then tip it into the white bucket and dump into the growbeds
