Haha nice fish seamonkey!

If i had have been a bit more game i could still have my trout in the water. Water has been above 22degC once for a day. Mostly it is below 19degC though.

Dont worry Ryan I pulled all mine out too. Most of us have who live around the hot parts of Oz. Its better to be safe than sorry as you know how quickly it can turn. :D

On another note, I saw some of those smoked trout in vacuum sealed bags in our local shopping centre the other day. They were 200g for $8 ea.

Nice fish Rupe!! :headbang:

Lucky you... had to shuffle tanks and fish around earlier today... before heading off for a funeral/wake....

30 degrees most of the day...

Tank temp 24.2.... when I nipped in at 16:30...for a quick check between events....

I hear ya mate. The stress i have saved myself has been well worth it, but one does wonder how big they would have gotten.

Plus i miss my trout. The silvers are so boring, either hiding or dying...

Those are some great fish Rup. :thumbright:

I really dont know why it has been so cold up here this month. Its still getting down to 10degC at night!

Same here... been freezing lately. Could have taken mine out another month or so. I left a couple in to this time last year and they got a fungal disease and their eyes rotted. Wasnt going to do that again. Better to have a nice feed a bit earlier I reckon.

Same here, the bigger fish really does just become bragging rights for me. I have to eat the whole thing myself anyway.

Still, this weather has killed any chance on barra for me i think.

Pulled out another 12 yesterday. Water temp got to its hottest yesterday at 19 deg. Their starting to get big, the biggest went 1201 grams (875 grams gutted and minus head) with the rest around the 1000 grams. I still have 40 left and will probably drag another bunch out tomorrow.
