New here... found this from a post you made on the orange tractor forum.

So what do you do with the sugar cane? Do bannana's actually fruit there? I know of people that grow them here but they don't really fruit much...

heck sorry I missed this post. I am hoping the banana's fruit, they are supposed to. As far as the sugar cane I enjoy snaking on it, just chew on it for a while and it tastes great.

Ignore the poor photo shop, I am not going to discuss why I did it. Thought I would update with some new pics. Got all the beds and fish moved into the system even though the walls are not complete. Just going to put up a cheap cover over it for this winter.

I have a feeling this will never be finished either. Might be done with the concrete and the greenhouse one day, but will probably always be improving something.

Are you growing sugar cane !? (I grew up on a cane farm, I find it interesting someone would put it in an AP system)

Yeah, that is sugar cane. I figured I would give it a try and it is growing great. I also planted some near my pond and the stuff in the AP is growing way faster than the stuff in ground.

Well I got a good start on my small temporary green house. Ran out of PVC so I sent the wife into town to get more. Should have it up tomorrow, and then my stuff should be safe for the winter.
