Hello everyone... I'm excited to be a part of this.

Many seemingly disconnected (at first) events and activities have resulted in my becoming very interested in this subject and the potentials it offers. I'm a descendant of traditional 'dirt' farmers. Became involved in backyard propagation of plants which lead to traditional composting which lead to vermicomposting (w/worms) which lead to Aquaponics. Looking back, maybe it was a 'natural' progression... I dun no.

I've maintained successful aquariums raising African Cichlids... a hobby unfortunately 'given up' many years ago. Chemistry is in my background... along with a bit of MacGyver-ism... I like building stuff. I enjoy eating fresh, natural foods and I’m concerned about the environment. I get excited when I learn new things and I am equally excited about teaching others things I’ve learned.

My corporate day-to-day activities leave me wanting more. This may be it. Looking forward to the journey.
