We have grown peanuts in soil, not in Ap. I think they prefer a moist soil. Try it and see. Take one for the team, you will know soon enough.

I would have thought that you can buy them anywhere, but i think Joel got them at Tony ales in Jandakot, the local favourite. Make sure you try the lentil salad if you go there. yum. Allow some time to look around, but don't go at lunchtime cause they are busy.
You might as well get some galangal, turmeric, potatoes, ginger, garlic, shallots and jerusalem artichokes to plant as well.

the missus and i were at a local nursery today and we were looking at the seeds and came across a packet of peanut seeds. I may be going back soon to get them and see how i go. we seem to be trying to grow everything else at the moment :P

Dunno if we would get a long enough warm season in vic. Maybe Melbourne would be better as they don't get frosts :dontknow:
