A place to discuss aquaponics

Any one know were i can get alot of LECA in Florida or the SW USA. Im looking to buy bulk or whole sale but everywere iv called(20+ places) eather only sales Retail or dosent know what LECA is at all. Please Help. Between me and my partner we have called almost 50 places an nothing yet.

Someone mentioned that they produced it in Tennessee as an additive for concrete to lighten it up. IIRC it was a bit smaller than normal-like 1/4" -3/8"(6-9mm). The post was over in the grow media thread.

Im looking for a place i can pull my duce and a half into and have em dump a load in, not palets of prepackaged bags.

I doubt you will find that with LECA. Hydroton is made in Germany, and shipped here in the bags. Perhaps expanded shale is more up your alley. Your best bet with hydroton is to find someone that will sell you a pallet of it. Hydro stores get it that way somehow.
