Is anyone else having the website drop out constantly for a few hours at a time?

Yeah we just had another little hiccup....

The server shut down for some reason, it's the second time it has happened along with all of the other problems along the way of course.. We will be grilling support tomorrow to try and find out why the hell it seems to be happening, there is nothing obvious in any error logs..

I'm hoping that this is all just a period of teething issues, and that very soon all websites will be up and running LONG TERM..

Put it this way, Joel has had enough of the stress, he will be be saying......

FIX IT, MAKE IT WORK, MAKE IT RELIABLE I DON'T CARE WHAT IT COSTS, I DON'T WANT THE PROBLEMS ANY MORE. :geek: time to go home......

When it is going it is running like a dream.

I certainly appreciate all the effort you and your team have put in Joel :)

You called?

I actually agree that text should fit whatever size you set the window to, but don't think this is really the time (even though I've already had my say elsewhere). As stated, it's easy enough to change it for yourself, have it changed later, or simply cope.

If I was EB, I'd just down a bottle of vodka and have a bit of a lie down :)

Thanks EB for all your hard work over the last few days. We really do appreciate this place.

Oh and I want one of anybody's monitors that have two x 22inch. I have a 17inch (cube) monitor that I think might be steam powered, and as for resolution, even with my lousy eyesight, I can count the pixels from the other side of the room.

And I'm finding it super fast as well.

What company is it with?

I like the forum as it is right now, and I'm seeing it load fast too. Great job!

Getting back to CSS, it seems like its not completely loading on my end... Sometimes I get no styling at all, sometimes I get partial styling... Right now, the menu displays as a UL and the banner doesn't have a logo and all the text in the banner is the wrong font/size....

Could be that I'm at work, though. The new server is a restricted site, so its possible one or more CSS files are being blocked.

I posted this before, not sure if it got lost in the server moves/restores though.
It doesn't make the header pretty but you can use this greasemonkey script to make the forum 100% wide.
