Just wanted to say hello, I have been using hydroponics for lettuce and basil in a indoor garden. I have been wanting to build a new system and make the switch to aquaponics. I have been giving access to a green house by some Japanese friends that own a farm. but it is kinda far at least 1.5 hours each way drive. So I am thinking of starting a smaller scale system in my apartment for now.

OKIAP, I am also on island and looking to start an AP and HP systems. What grow medium did you select? I'm having trouble finding anything on island affordable.
