STILL raining here!
The lawns are all marshy so my hopes of trimming edges and mowing lawn are on hold... the only good thing about this is that I can pull out all the sensative weed easily now (there was a lot in one part of the lawn about 30 min ago :)

Hot as hell here in Perth... Got to 39C at home today so a bit cooler than normal. I have lost a few goldfish in the heat... the Barramundi got boiled yesterday and poached today (waste not, want not). I have been putting an ice cream container size block of ice in every afternoon to keep it cool but no effect.

Took a big step today and moved the fish tanks. They are in an old shade house now so they are a bit more protected. Will post update tomorrow in my thread.

Respect to the volunter bush fire brigade people.

Thankfully little wind today or it could have been really awful for many more!

Seen all the fires on the news last night, there must be a :violent3: getting around for so many to be happening at once.

Yep, 39 degs here today and dry as. I have boycotted a 6 year old's birthday party to manage HSM that happened this morning and am glad for the air conditioner and the cricket. Will be cracking the first coldie very shortly, and it has taken great self restrasint to not already be nursing one!

Hot! About 32 ish, but dropping. Definitly hoter inside, no aircon, but the fishtanks are holding at 27 so the goldfish are partying! Just fed 'em and had to go back for seconds! Hungry little beasties, I still think there spoilt! :D

Hit 45degC here today, stayed home and nursed the tub(and some coldies). Started putting ice in at 13:00 and added more every 1/2 hour until 18:30.
Wind has picked up and cooling things down, tank now at 27.8degC and no floaters. :D

Do many people have problems with over heating. My tank sits at about 32 through the day here and the fish have no real problems. Mind you they are Tilapa so that may be the thin.

On the weather Note its Hot and Sunny and Then Rainy and still Hot here. Just glad I am not in Jakarta as they are swimming to work these days :D
