Are you human?: YES
Location: SW Florida, USA
I bought a timer yesterday and only realized today that it is only able to be set in 30 minute intervals. Is this okay? And, if so, how should I have it run? 30 on, 30 off? 30 on, 60 off? Or should I replace it. Thanks!

Freya

Are you human?: Only after 3 coffees
Location: Happy Valley, Adelaide, SA,Australia.
Depends on how much water you are turning over and the size of your pump. Most do a 15 on 45 off and aim to turn over the volume of your FT in the 15 minutes. It is not going to hurt to run for 30 minutes if you are turning over the volume of the FT and the beds drain in the other 30 minutes.

The amount of power you want to use per hour is up to you.

Are you human?: I hope so
Location: Hills east of Perth
I run mine 15 mins on and 15 mins off (and a bit of constant flood after feeding). To ensure that the water drains in the off period I have added additional holes in the standpipe.
