Hello all,

We love the concept of Aquaponics it was a easy sell for my better half her diet consists of 90% veggies.

We've collected 5 IBC's and a Super sack of expanded clay (enough to fill the 3 grow beds 12" deep). We recycled our 8x16 green house into a 10x23 green house for our aquaponic system. We've been working on our system for a few weeks now finally got some time to try to get some pictures up of it. We created 2 growbeds, sump tank, and a fish tank so we could get started with our system.

We've taken several pictures along the way. Gonna try to get them up here for comments and suggestions.

Due to hurricane Issac a friends cedar fence blew down and had to be replaced I took the old fencing to wrap our grow beds, sump and fish tank.

Hey, you have done well. Looking good, good work there.
Considering your winter time is a short one, and you have built a nice area, I assume you will do great.
What type of fish are you going to have there?

Plenty of help on this project so far. Just gotta finish up the plumbing from the fish tank to the growbeds then we can start cycling.

Zubin, we are going to try Hybrid bluegill and possibly a few channel cats.

Thanks, ccBear I'm trying to encourage everyone to get involved so it's our system and not just mine.

No pictures yet but we got the FT plumbed and working on wrapping it in the old fencing. We added some water from our 10 gallon aquarium to the rain water we had collected to help kick start the system.
