maybe i need to make a barrel filter like yours, i added 800l of unwashed gravel (blue metal) to my system been nearly a week and the water is still pretty dirty. i thought the system would settle itself and wouldn't need to be pre-washed. i put 2 pot plants filled with wool under the grow bed outlets and been running constant height instead of bell siphon. it cleared the system up so i could see the bottom of the sumps but still really dirty maybe 50%.

Growth is nothing spectacular,
will just sit back and wait i guess.

There is also about 40 silver perch in the tank, but they're all hiding so couldnt get any on camera.. The video was done via my mobile phone inside a jar!

Hey guys,

When I put the greenhouse in, should I enclose the fish tank?
If not, it gives me an extra 3mx3m of grow space
