Hi all. . cairns nth QLD is my base
im a member of aquaponic forum on murrays web site and now starting to look around for sites that aren't focused on making $$$ and more so on helping us all understand the workings of AP.

just to give you a quick view into my system.

pool conversion. 55,000L
4x 1000L industrial IBC
16x 500L polly cattle troughs
300 Jade perch and 50 barra.

system has been cycling for 6 weeks with no major probs. ill post pics as soon as i find the correct area.

New to Aquaponics not new to fish. Have been keeping and feeding them for years. Then one day had this bright idea for a filter system. Turned to the Internet and found that I was 100 Years behind the times.

So here I am now with a fab home made IBC system keeping my 3000+ L of water and fish very happy.

We all LOVE to see pics here mate, please put a few up of your system when you get a chance.
Pics have to be no larger than 800x600 (Use something like "windows picture resizer")
I make them 800x600 because bigger is better

To add pics, click on "Browse" under "upload attachment"
Then click on "Add the file"
Then back at the bottom of the compose window click on "Place inline"

Lots of people have trouble figuring it out at the start

Welcome mate I am in the Glasshouse Mts and just getting the bits and pieces together.

You could go to members systems and start your own thread, that way all your information is in the one area. I believe you can only post three photos at once. Cheers

Hi all. I'm Matt from Kilkivan, a little north west of Gympie. Anyone have a system out my way (or Gympie etc), would be good to see some more systems is action.

I'm on to my second system (managed to kill my first 100 fish by overstocking / underfiltering / poor info etc), you can see it all here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2niSlBwAdM , currently expanding it to include a tomato house.
