Hello Everybody

Haven't been around for a while but I have an update.

Yesterday finally received a planning application we can use. Now the race will be on to see if we can get the covers on the greenhouse before the end of Autumn.

Should have hired a good aquaculture consultant Stuart.... they know all the certifications/licencing requirements.. and what's needed to get them... in the shortest possible time...

A good consultant would probably organise all the necessary permits/licences etc... for you...

Thanks for the tip Rupe but an AQ consultant would not have helped us with VicRoads nor with the latest problems with council because they had nothing to do with aquaculture.

From here an AQ consultant isn't going to be anymore useful for the buildings regs than the engineers or shed contractors we currently have on the books. Nor would they be anymore useful for all the other rig moral than the people we have on hand with the exception of the actual aquaculture permit.

We have been led to believe by DPI that this won't be a problem in fact all the other bureaucracy we have been told is just about following the rules. Where as planning involves getting bureaucrats to make a decision.

In any case none of the AQ consultants have impressed us with the value of the propositions that they put to us.

Glad to hear you are finally getting somewhere Stuart.

my recent dealings just trying to get a garage re-built on my property lead me to belive that council and other restrictions that are currently in place are completely counter-intuitive. I cant possibly imagine what you have gone through, but its nice to see you have the tenacity to move through it and keep going.
