Emigrate!
Welcome, owen. No doubt you will be well serviced for advice from your frozen winter compatriots. Very few of us down this way suffer that horror - oops, I mean challenging climatic experience!

well believe it or not, its been my dream since i was about 16 to move "down under" not only for the climates and wildlife but iv always appreciated the political structure down there.
i once read a quote form a man in power down there, unfortunately i don't remember it very well but it went something like (we welcome you hear, what we don't welcome is your political and religious views. your welcome to be and practice what you want, but keep it to your self and don't force it on us or we don't want you hear) or something along thous lines... witch is exactly how i feel in a nut shell.
plus you guys have koala bears... AND DUCKBILL PLATYPUS!!! thous things are a slap in the face to all of existence... i mean come on... its like a cruel joke... science thinks it has animals figured out and then that thing comes along and lays an egg..... what came first the chicken or the egg? who cares! where the hell did that thing come from!!!!!!

Charlie! You're not allowed to eat Platypie! They're protected......

My friend Erin and I came up with a theory that Australia's animals were created on the 7th day while God was resting, by His 5-year-old son. (neither of us are in any way religious...)

Welcome Owen!

iv always thought something like that..... like if god made the world, Australia was his trial and error, or if it was aliens then it was like the testing ground... and if it all just happened... then anything that didn't fit in anywhere else just went to aus.... i mean how else do you explain that place... Tasmanian Tiger??? the things jaw can arch at like a 90 angle or something crazy.. looks like wolf tiger kangaroo things....
the only thing that scares me is the water there... you guys have some craaaaazy stuff living in your waters... worst thing i have around hear are leeches.. my luck id be eaten on the 3rd day

lol well not to worry, you wont find me in Oz in this life time, iv looked up the immigration procedures before and lets keep it simple by saying its an impossibility for me, maybe a vacation some day but living there ya right.. coasts alone are in the 10s of thousands just to get out there and you guys require a LOT of someone to even get approved. ware i have no real trades and not a very good education its a dream of mine ill keep in my sleep, but moving more south in the USA!!! now that's something im looking forward to in the next year GOOD BY SNOW the worst natural process in the universe is falling frozen water...
ever wake up for work at 5am and have to not only dig your car out of 5ft of snow, but dig your way to the car?? all wile half asleep and pissed off its a Monday???? don't talk to me about a bad morning till you've been there....... bane of my existence!
