Ill add pictures I just dont know how so if somebody would let know know that would be great

When you click "post reply" it brings you to the "post a reply" page. Under the box where you enter text for your reply, there's another box where you can choose files on your computer and attach them to your post. You just have to make sure your images are 800x600 or smaller. Screenshot attached.

Most PC's have the program "Paint" Right click on your picture and you will see "open with" then click on Paint. Top left corner of paint you see "Resize" click on pixles and set at 800x600. Then save or if you want to keep the original do save as Just add an "S" to the original name so you know its small file.
With your camera go in and set for smaller pictures, read the intruction manual.

hmm. Looks nice, but I would ditch the rectangular irrigation bar. those small holes will block with solids and cause you grief. Also it seriously limits the amount of planting space you have available. Plants don't like being dribbled on all the time. You have effectively eliminated half your useful growbed space. If you can just have the water flow in at two or even just one place it will be better, say at the point furthest from the drain.

It is hard to see from the pics but it seems the fish tank water is very still. Falling water from the growbed to the fishtank would help with aeration. You could also put a T on the pipe from the pump and have a bit of water returning to the tank from the pump to help with aeration.

It looks like a clear pipe from the pump to the irrigation bar. If it is, once you have nitrates in there the pipe will quickly grow lots of algae and it may reduce your flow, or even block as happened to me, and possibly cause pH swings.

so what you are saying is get rid of the rectangular irrigation bar and clean pipe would I use pvc to get the water from the ft to the gb and just wrap the pvc around the gb until it on the other side of the gb farthest away from the drain and just have the water just flowing out ???? Also the water is still during some parts of the day this is because I couldnt get the bell siphon to work right so i had to do a 90 degree angle and then some pvc and then like a 45 degree angle pointing up and that works just great for me - I did try the t pipe but it was working but once the bell siphon kicks on I like it aerations the tank good enough until the auto siphon happens again- ill have to time it next time to see how long in between it goes for.

So, I did switch out the bar that went all around the grow bed and made it just come in from one spot.
I had to take the sliding door off and used hinges on the door since the sliding door wasnt working.
I have goldfish and koi in the fish tank right but would like to get bluegill or something like that in the tank but I think too much cold air is getting into the greenhouse am I going to have to get a light to keep the plants warm or should they be fine, and should I have a water heater in the system as while??

Ok.. so it's already done... but it really wasn't necessary... to remove it.. just needed to be dropped down onto the media level...

I use that style of grid in all my systems... it's standard in all the BYAP systems...

The holes don't really block up at all... and a quick regular opening of the ball valve usually keeps them clear... or you can simply (don't glue them)... pull them apart once in a while.. and hose them out...

And running a grid around the sides of the grow bed... can't be said to "seriously limit the amount of growing spcae"...

Yea mine are not glued and as Roz said I turn off valves to maximise or isolate flow through a particular bed to flush nasties. Then once every few months I remove the pipes and flush with the hose.

well my system didnt have the ball value but what I ended up doing gave me much more room and doesnt clog up so I think Ill keep what I have right... thanks for all the information

also im thinking about adding another growbed to the tank and put it on the ground but what all do i have to do to add another growled... the reason why i want it on the ground is so i can grow like corn or start a tree or something like that.

Ill be posting more pictures up soon
