Am I the only one having problems accessing the BYAP website? I can access the forum pages OK but I can't get onto the shop or the Contact page (I tried to get on the contact page so that I could report this issue!!).

I thought that it might be an issue with a cookie or something similar so I tried another computer at home but had the same issue.

I actually want to get onto the shop so that I can work out what fish food to buy as I want to get my first silver perch fingerlings in the next couple of weeks but I want to make sure that I have some food ready first!!!

Thanks,

Gags

Hi Gags, :dontknow: Works for me. I think there is someone supposed to be working on the shop. You can send me a pm and I can call you tomorrow or send details if you like.
Cheers
Faye

Thanks for the quick responses. I just tried the link directly and still no joy. I also tried deleting all cookies to see if that made any difference but still no luck.

Is there any way that my IP address could be locked out?? I accessed the shop last night and was looking at fish food.....put some in the cart and was in the middle of the registration process when it dropped out. As previously stated I can't access it from my other computer either (it's a PC, this one's a Mac) so I am wondering if it is related to my IP address?? I can see all of the forums but none of the links at the top of the page work (i.e. Home, Shop, Magazine, News, etc).

So who is the guru of all things computing???

Gags

The server is certainly having difficulties at the moment, I just went online to try to order some fish food, and was presented with this page:

This was after managing to put the item in my cart, it was when I tried to check out that the issues started.

The shop has been playing up for a long time. Just PM or call Faye/Joel to order.

Thanks for the suggestion Charlie, although I must admit that it seems a bit... counterintuitive...

Ahhh so it's your fault then....

Ok, you guys can be guinea pigs for the new shop site then if you like. It's nearly finished, just a few bits left to finish off, a few old products to delete and a few new ones to set up. Still should be all working fine for the basics like buying feed.

Very weird.......had a look today at work and the Shop worked fine, however, still no joy from home (tried on a Mac and a PC)!! Is there anyway that my IP address could somehow have been "blackbanned" from the BA site??

I tried accessing the other parts of the site using a web proxy today and I was able to do so without any problems. Does this mean that my IP address has somehow been blocked from accessing the shop and other parts of the site?? I did try resetting my cable router and getting rid of all cookies but this hasn't made any difference. I am keen to be able to view these other parts of the site again.......anybody have any idea of what I might need to do to overcome this problem??

Pass........ :dontknow:

I have no end of problems with almost every website we have... Constantly living on the edge of what I comprehend, and go through different people working on different sites at an incredible rate.
