Yes, FT with pump in it is much larger than FT with SLO in it.

Looking at the drawings again, can you position the top of the new FT low enough for the GB to drain directly in through the top and high enough so that the SLO can drain directly into the top of the other FT? If you can, then you'll only need to cut one hole in the side of the FT for the SLO and you won't need to add another point of failure by having to cut a hole in the other FT where the SLO will drain through?

[album][/album]That's kind of the plan, to dig IBC in deep enough so GB drains directly into top of IBC.
Then cut hole in side of existing FT for SLO.I don't want to cut top off existing FT as it's good having height there to keep kids out and stop fishing jumping out. I have made quite a good cover out of concrete slab mesh with block out shade cloth cable tied to it.

I am on IPad so the attachment isn't highlighted.
Though I managed it last time loading from an app that let me edit / scribble on pics. Just can't seem to do it now?.
I have tried tapatalk before but it's a really clunky forum medium and of course I have forgotten the password to that as well.
Oh well.
I will paint pic with words.
I dug IBC in as sketched in previous post. Tried leaving pump in original position but ended up moving pump to IBC and SLO into original FT. Height of water better in IBC as it is not as wide, if that makes any sense.
So I cranked it up today and all seems ok. I fully sealed around drain and SLO holes to and from original tank and all seems ok. I ended up not going with 90mm SLO as I had a fair bit of 50mm pipe lying around. Just had to buy a couple of joiner / junctions.
Now I just have to decide if to bother sourcing Barra or I just grab me some SP.
Question time, how many SP would comfortably fit in an IBC, the water level should be fairly high in IBC. It will drain a bit when filling GBs but fill up again when they are drained.
Hopefully I can post some pics soon, not that my system is very nice to look at.

So this is it, the new FT.
Pump relocated to new IBC from BYAP.
50mm SLO battles to keep up with pump but does keep up. Thinking I might need to remove SLO and pepper with more holes.
Priced some Barra and at $4 each I may go with SP didnt price SP but should be cheaper.
Plus I guess I could stock now with SP.
