Another good haul today but they are getting smaller, so time to look for another spot. Got nose to the ground and have a few sniffs :D

I've heard that in dams, heaps of small yabbies can mean overpopulation, and harvesting some of those (perhaps relocate to another dam or handy AP setup) can help increase the size of these tasty morsels.

Warm weather is here so time to brush the dust of the nets. Ive noticed the yabb's in my FT are out and about during the day now so should be a good thing.

The yabbies havent stopped in this lake all winter apparently. Amazing how many yabbies can be pulled from one small lake.
Did some in garlic butter with AP lettuce and homemade bread , were good

Its amazing how many yabbies must be in this lake. Check the pic at the top of this page back in March, same lake, and its been going all winter. Unbeleivable and dunno where they come from :shock:
