oh the ducks are loving it :) the chooks look absolutely miserable. The dogs are sad cos I won't let them in the house with muddy feet

just had a HUGE downpour... lasted for absolute ages!!! - I have had to drain water out of my pool 3 times now in the past 2 weeks... and I will have to do it again tomorrow :shock: as it is back to the level it was this arvo when I came hame from work (I drained about 2 inches off this arvo)
This also means that I will have to drain water from my system as it was almost too full this morning...

Batten down the hatches and man the pumps AM... looks like you could be really wet for a while...

Looks like the cyclone in the Gulf is going to track into Borroloola but could swing toward Mornington...

Either way there's still a lot of water from that system which will be sucked over and fed into the system on top of you guys

Keep the buckets handy

we've had the "light" rainfall for the area, 130mm to Thurs, 47mm to Fri, raining moderately heavy now, local auto station says 40mm already (not going out in the rain to check our gauge) . Some local sites got 255mm to Thurs, 207mm to Fri, up to 73mm now

Well we have 40 degrees here today, in the last week and a half I think we've had about 4 days of 40..... It's getting beyond a joke, there was some shovelling I wanted to do out the back...
