First & foremost I'm absolutely blown away by the amazing systems I'm discovering on this forum. Thank you for posting & saving me from having to ask somewhat silly questions. I'm chomping away & learning alot.

My planned system is still very roughly outlined, but here's what I'm working with. FT's are two 750 gallon capacity, and will be buried aprox. 1/2 way in the dirt. They will reside in a 1000 SF hoophouse (also needs to be built), and I will be using the most economical gb's I can fathom. Thinkin wood/pond liner, not sure. I'm commited to tank location, as I spent a day digging the 5' diameter x 3' deep holes, and goddamn that was alot of shoveling. Still haven't decided on sump location, which will be more digging unfortunately. Thinking an IBC for each tank + 1 x 55 drum swirl + 1 55 drum bio. I'll have two completely seperate systems, which I think will be nice. Likely finish one & get it online asap while building the other after. Afterall, I know me and that's what I would do. :) Cash is going to be my limiting factor on a timely build, as I don't have alot of that extra lying around, but I'm always scouring for freebees. Like my tank.:) I am welcome to any and all advice good or bad, though I've not seen alot of bad advice here...

In anticipation, I was looking at some of the smaller systems & thought to myself, "I could probably build one of these with stuff I got already." I was right! Put this little system together yesterday. I gotta admit, I get a certain pleasure seeing my first bell siphon functioning properly.

Well, I've got alot more reading/drooling to do. I gotta say I'm pretty jealous of all you folks getting help from kids/spouse/neighbors etc... No kids, wife not gonna be of any help until system is finished. Neighbors... Don't know em, lol. Gonna have to have a bbq or something when it comes time to attach the poly to the GH. Can't imagine doing that alone.

Thanks ahead of time for taking time to post your success/failures, helping me with mine, and making it possible for a dummy like me to make something awesome.

Thanks helo. I just finished reading your thread yesterday, and was in part refering to you in reguards to getting help from others. I pointed out to my wife what your wife had done in scoring IBC's etc... I don't think it had the effect I was hoping for, lol.
