iv also been cutting the larger leaves off the beetroot leaving the smaller ones behind

not shore if this is slowing the growth of the 6 beetroots i have in there or not

im finding the beetroot to be producing leafy greens more then the leafy greens i planted i also like the taste and colour better

I heard the truth behind them... Out shopping with the GF and she said she liked the colour of them, quick grab them... Turn them into more of an AP system before she realizes that she said no more expansion... :lol:

How are the fish going Nat??

I setup a 1.5 barrel system for a family member a couple of months ago, but we still don't have any fish in it. She is vegetarian, so there not going to be there for eating, but we were trying to stay away from just adding goldfish.

the fish are doing grate ill try take some photos of them later

i have minnows, daninos, pygmy perch and i also have some tadpoles

goldfish are probably what i would recommend for anyone doing a small barrel system they are easy and eat lots
