They are loving it mate... I have a couple of squares of shade cloth in there for them, and during the day you only ever see 1 or 2... At night tho there's Yabbies everywhere!!

My little girl loves them too, and we're always going outside to "look at the proowns" ha ha. Feeding time is one of her favourite things at the moment.

3 Weeks growth... all going well. Water has turned a bit green but i'm in the process of letting it clear up via more run cycles and reduced feeding. Tanks could use a bit more shading too which i will be sorting out this weekend...

Had to cull back my Basil today... It's really taking over and needed a good prune before it takes over the joint. So nice to have fresh herbs and man the aroma it gives off is awesome. Feels great to be able to reap rewards after 3 weeks!!

It's actually not too bad... i put some shade cloth around the media guard for my drain and so far have had no problems. The rock ranges from 5+ mm to 20mm.

Looking good. I also have small media, and had to use a 1/4" (~6 mm) mesh to separate and discard the smaller bits... But the siphon flushes pretty well with what I do have, 6-12mm for the most part.
