How hard is it to get them to remove copied videos posted on YouTube?

There are ways of getting channels banned from YouTube, but it is a lot of work. One of which is to keep clicking the dislike buttom. The problem with that is, Robs videos are SO GOOD that it is hard to overwhelm the "Likes" with the "Dislikes". And this has the potential to mess up Rob's legitimate channel.
Another way is to post the truth in the comments section of the theifs channel. Enough people posting the truth may make YouTube take notice.
And i'm sure Rob has already gone the proper routes in trying to have the channel removed, it just takes a while for justice to be served.

I went to the channel and I didn't see Rob video (I didn't actually watch anything but none of the splash shots of the videos looked like his at a glance) so I was figuring he had already gotten them to take his video down and I was figuring "that was quick"

I know you can contact youtube if you see that some one has posted your stuff without permission, I just didn't know how fast the response might be.

Actually, it was surprisingly easy to get it removed! I filled out a form from here: http://www.youtube.com/copyright_complaint_form and by the time I went back to the scumbag's channel, the video was still there, but if you tried to play it, the screen was blacked-out and said I had a claim against the video.

I've had some other people grab just parts of my videos and mixed it in with theirs. It takes a bit longer to get that removed because you have to tell youtube the timestamps in question. I'm assuming that their computers have to scan through the videos and try to match everything up.

It's sort of scary that someone else could do the same claim against mine as some kind of revenge. I'm hoping that YouTube is smart enough to check the upload dates to see who posted it first. Perhaps they also check to see if the account has a good standing. They keep track of complaints against the channels. Mine has always been in good standing.

Most of my older videos don't have my logo or facebook links plastered all over it. When people started to copy them, that when I put them in. It help to reduce the copying...but there's still a bunch of jerks that copy them just to try to get the hits on their channels. (insert icon of smiley face sticking up his middle finger)

here's a few pics after I got the solar panels installed. For a size comparison, I"m standing next to the panels on the right. I'm 5'-11". ;-)

That first view looks like something that's going to take off and fly to Mars (or Barsoom if you prefer).
Very exciting. Sorry, if it's been covered. Is that enough panel to cover the operating cost for the whole dome?

There are plenty of scum bags out there... i have had photos knocked off and used without my permission, and to make matters worse they used them as product adverts without so much as a thanks (or some freebies...lol)

As for the latest additions to the Dome...awesome, i hope you have enough power generating to offset consumption of the system

I had a couple of electronic components that are back ordered so I have to wait a few more days to plug it in. I only need an average of 100 watts to run the entire building. The system is sized to charge the batteries enough during the winter. If I recall, the average amount of "full" sunlight we get during the winter is 1.8 hours, so I have to be able to charge an entire day's worth with that average! I still need to cut a few more trees down too. ;-)

Here's a few things that I do for general maintenance in the aquaponic system. There really is little work that I have to do on it!
