I just did a quick water test per the instructions.. the results do not make sence.
PH 7.6 / Ammonia 2.0ppm / Nitrite 2.0ppm / nitrate 20ppm

I'll re-do the tests tomorrow to double check

Giving it 1 cap full of seasol per day,
Initially gave it 400ml on day 1

(per Murray's instructions on his 'first 12 months' DVD )

I have 4x300l growbeds and 1000l ft, I'm thinking in a fortnight to add 25 silvers.. Then once cycled, another 25..

Sound good?

Test your water from the tap and post findings, also what did your IBC's have in them originally?

Looks all good. Just wait until the nitrates start coming through. Patience is the key

1 had foodstuff based resin
1 was previous used as a water tank
2 had some other kind of resin in them

All were scrubbed clean and pressure washed and left in sun for 2 weeks prior to build

media is just red scoria - i assumed it was the safest ph bet

should i be worried about my high PH? should i just go with it or try and reduce?

I'll test tap water and advise,
