Had to do another vid to see if the little Bass were still in the tank, and one does make an appearance near the start. Shows that the silvers are not interested in food at all, but the pellets will get sucked out and up to the growbeds to feed the worms.
Sloping floored tanks with centre outlet are great

Yeah the little fellas with black fins. They have hardly grown at all as they have been in there for nearly 18 months :)

Eel tail or Tandanus tandanus. The small silvers, catfish and bass were all one batch that went in 18 months ago and the bigger silvers have been in 2 years

Another vid of the fish. Water at about 8C so not much action yet. There should be still a jade perch in here somewhere which is amazing as this tank has gotten down to 5C at least once

Tossed some 3mm floating pellets in this system as it has been dissapearing and I was thinking the 5 goldies in there were getting it all. Then went to feed the trout and after a while heard splashing in the big system. Peeked under the lid and the silvers were hitting the pellets. Tank on 11C. They must be hungry eh
They knocked off another small handful before dark :)

Cant remember the brand mate, just buy a bag of those cheap cooked cocktail prawns (school prawns), I got mine from the supermarket here in the seafood section. The little buggers love them.

Decided to have a looky in the big system today with the camera as its the only way to get a good look. Fish all look healthy to me. Going to get the smaller silvers and maybe some smaller catfish out on the weekend and put in the now vacant ibc system.
Then hopefully more catfish fingerlings Dec/Jan
