Neat thread here. Have any of you guys checked out the site called
Buglogical.com
They have a lot of bugs used for bad bug control. I use them. I buy nematodes for the
soft sided bugs in the soil. Also they cut down on the fleas and ticks
and the Mosquitoes also.
I bought green lacewings this year and I think they did not stay in the green
house long enough to do much good but now I am finding them all over the place.
I bought praying mantis and haven't seen very many of them. Spiders kill them
and that makes me mad.
I have trouble with spiders in the AP garden.

I found, questioned, waited, googled then knew! The moral to the story, you should always google first !

Anyway, I found these in my GB in the basil roots with lots of worms. Turns out they are worm eggs.

Found this in the goldfish tank.. Doesn't look like any mozzie wrigler i've ever seen before.. can't find anything like it on google (although i havn't been able to find anything with google since they messed it up a couple of years ago).. any ideas what else it could be?

it's the moult from a mozzie, when it grows it needs new skin, this is the left overs

It's still moving/wriggling.. I guess it could be in the process of moulting.. or the sarah jessica parker version of a mozzie.. have got it in a measuring cup so will try to see what it turns into..

You just need "sharks with frickin' lasers" in your system Don ! They'll take care of the spiders for sure.

gorotsuki69 - it's probably a ichneumon wasp of some sort. They're a parasitic wasp which prey on various insects including a number of pests. They're generally considered a beneficial insect in the backyard
