Thanks guys. The puppy went on a bit of a dig around this evening in one bed and stomped in 2 others.. A bit of destruction and plant damage The Only good out of it was to see how moist it really is 20 cm from the top soil

The wicking pots are going to be helpful as the oregano covers the beds like a blanket and the chillis need a decent place to live.

looking forward to tomorrow planting long White Japanese Daikon. They look interesting.

Made a bit of progress on the wicking pots. Came to a stand still trying to change the grinding disc to a cutting disc with no chuck. Will take the grinder to work tonight, and get a fitter to sort it out for me The neighbourhood can wake up at 6 am to construction again

Looking excellent as usual Jessy, those wicking beds surely are a good idea.

I got the pots happening finally

`What a process.....but all worth while

Yep heaps of root matter exposed, so watered down and top dressed with horse poo

finished the first 7 pots, 3 Asian Lantern, 2 Jalapino, and 2 Dill .

Back to the hardware I go to see if my order has come in of another 10 pots. I am collecting as many chilli varieties as possible. I have 6 or so, so far. There must be mobs something about growing chilli I love.
