Yes, Borax it was. Here are some other natural remedies. But I still have ants in the kitchen. I think my problem is that their trail to get to my kitchen is so long that any bait I set kills the workers before they make it back to feed the queen.

Thats actually quite funny.

we have a great product here its called ant-rid. smells like honey and has borax in it. it supposedly won't kil them till the bring it back to the nest............JP, you ants must have a very long commute! Do they use public transport?

Mortien has an "ant sand" you sprinkle in the cracks around the house that is supposed to kill them???.... never used it....

ARRRGGGGG, if any one has it can they PLEASE look up the ingredients I'm HOPING that its just DA earth. Some fool spread it all over their aircon outdoor unit. i was covered in it before i was done fixing it.
