It's okay, I've pieced together that the media is 13mm poly pipe cut up. That's the main thing I wanted to know. Will probably make some to ensure I have extra bio filtration when I need it.

Used a brown sugar, salt and garlic mix. wood was macadamia.

Couple of years, I think. Lot of the fish are bigger than this one, so it could be from the second batch of silvers.

Nice looking Silver mate.... and it lookedlike it smoked up OK...

Never tried a "smoked" Silver... how would you rate them???

They taste great. Even better cold the next day. They go on about jades having lots of oil but the silvers have enough to make them smoke well.

Had to cut the banana out. Needed to move the tub. Transplanted the outside suckers into new tubs and the base of the big one went to a mate. He will turn that into 2 or 3 new plants.

There in a 1000ltr AP GB. I was meant to remove the suckers but never got round to it. :shifty: So now i have 5 large banana trees in the same tub. Each could end up throwing a bunch.

Still growing. But there are two bunches now. In dirt they remove the suckers but that doesn't seem to matter in AP. There are at least 5 trees growing together cos i never got round to thinning them out. :shifty:
