Thankyou everybody for a great night, about to go home and catch up on the few hours I missed. Thanks for that Charlie :D We monitored the temp and belive it got to as low as 4.4 degrees before the fog rolled in, Charlie guessed the closest at 4.3 - not too bad for Jandakot in winter. The firebox worked a treat.
Here are a couple more pics - great night, good conversations, some quotes still to be posted.

This photo is for Emily, who was disappointed that she had to miss the event, her quote. Sorry to miss the event, so wanted to meet Charlie, "he is my favourite character" from the BYAP forum. :flower: :flower: :flower:

Thank you Joel and Faye, and any others involved in the arrangements for the night. The atmosphere was great, the food excellent and the company inspiring! My partner, kids and I had a lot of fun and didn't really want to leave (could you tell?) It was really good to be able to map faces to forum names, and to give personal thanks to the many who have provided me with valuable insight and advice on a range of AP issues over recent months.
Your stews were really tasty, Faye, so thanks also for providing them.
I am already looking forward to next year's get together. :)

Ever had a problem with the lid not re-sealing after lifting to vent pressure?

Not yet. This is only the second brew through it though. With probably around 70 - 80 % of the volume of the beer in the collar i am not entirely sure it does vent though. :dontknow:

Wow, what a great night and many thanks to Joel, Faye and Nat for getting it all together.. great food and great people all round!! It was a bit cold but it was nice hugging the "bunning special" when the temp really started to plumet!

Fantastic to meet you all and finally put faces to the names :thumbright:

A special thanks to Faye for running me home after Joel finished chewing my ear off and then picking me back up in the morn to get the car from BYAP. Oh and the lovely coffee too!!

Cheers guys
