But dang, they changed the sight around so it rather sucks now, they only show one per page so you have to keep re-loading just to read a few and have a laugh. Ugh, so they can post more advertizements I guess. bummer, sight was pretty cool before.

Anyways, TC when you do get your gutters are you gonna pipe them directly into your rain barrel?

Barrel? no.
I have two, 3000 gallon water storage tanks. (see why carrying them around would cause injuries)
But yes I will direct the gutter flow to those.

I would like to see the size of the disks you put on top of that! I know you have disks for collecting in barrels.

Yeah, you thought the neighbors were freaked out at your last place. Wait until they see those UFOs abducting your water tanks.

LOL, at least at the new place, I have an enameled steel roof to collect rain water off of so I don't need the UFO's for the big tanks.

So I went to the damnyouautocorrect.com website. The parenting fail site was even better. That has absorbed quite a bit of my time. At least I am home sick, so there is nothing better for me to do but sit in one place and laugh by tail off.

 Holy Crap, once every thing is set up you should have plenty of water on reserve.
Hmm, I wonder  how long it would take to fill them once you have it all set up.

Well, I've got one of them half full already by pumping up into it out of the tanks and buckets I have lined up under the drip edge right now.

The second one I've just started pumping water up into and I don't have as many tanks lined up on that side to catch water yet. But if we keep getting rain all week from the tropical storm, I might get a good way there.

Ronmaggi just noticed where you are from. I used to have an apartment in Chula Vista when I was in the service. I miss southern Cali. I believe it has the best weather.

I like it. I've lived all up and down the left coast. I prefer it here. What branch were you in?
