We harvested some Swiss chard last night. Pics will be posted soon. I had never eaten it before, and I had planted it on the basis of I heard it was really nutritious, and it looked pretty. Turns out it tastes really good too. We sautéed it with some olive oil, added a little cracked black pepper, then sprinkled some Parmesan cheese on it. I enjoy beets, so I found the flavor quite good.

It's funny, but the only thing I like with lemon is lemonade. When I was a kid I would put lemon on fish, then try to hide the taste with more lemon. When I got older I realized it was not the taste of fish that I didn't like, it was the taste of lemon on fish.

Your system looks awesome. I'm in the process of building my IBC system right now, 300G tank, 2 media beds and one DWC raft bed w/ a swirl filter. It's coming along nicely, just finished plumbing. I'm in Chula Vista as well, maybe we can check out each others gardens and share knowledge. I saw a post saying you had too many tilapia, I'll take 20 off your hands once my system is cycled up. What are you water temps, are you using heaters? I'm planning on running a mix of catfish, bluegill, and tilapia...I dont want to have to heat my water.

I p.m.ed you my contact info. I have no idea what temp I have  I know everyone says that it is important, but hey, it's tilapia I got for free. No heaters. Start up a thread so we can see some pics or sketchup plans!

Had more aphids. This bag of ladybugs is much more active than the last. It is very satisfying to see aphids in the jaws of a ladybug!

Picked up my Moringa today! It is in its grow bed. I was expecting it to cost more than it did.

I love those plants, once you've bought one, you never have to buy again...
