After many months of planning and looking at all of the great systems on this site. It is finally time to get the ball rolling! I used the barrelponics design for the grow beds as I found it very hard to find clean IBCs locally. How come nobody mentions what a pain cleaning the grow bed gravel is? (Or maybe I missed those posts!). Got the first bed filled and tested and ready to go.

I do have a question though. Can I begin the cycling process and add beds as I go? For example add water, add goldfish, beginning cycling grow bed one. Complete grow bed 2 and put it on line, and so on. Or is it better to get them all ready to go at once?

My wife and I are so excited to see how this all comes together.

Take care all,

Cool Frog

Hi CoolFrog and welcome to the forum :wave1:

Looks like your all sorted there. You can start as you described with one GB then add as you go. But it might be wise to stock your fish like that aswell. Stock for one GB then as you add GB.... add fish :thumbright:
