To all fellow Aussies on the group, as well as those from other areas of the world..

I'm out the back playing some cards with a mate listening to the hottest 100 on JJJ, drinking a few ambers and we're about to start the barbie up...

The sound of the AP systems in the background is soothing, but they have forecast 40 degrees today and under the tin verandah I reckon it's over 40 already...

That is so wierd. I kept thinking it's a public holiday, for some reason it 'feels' like a public holiday.....

we had pies and peas beside a creek as we released Pav back to his home, to terrorise the locals :twisted: oh, and lots of cider and beer :lol: Happy Australia Day! :)

We had beer and barbie, followed by the cricket at Adelaide oval, well half a match anyway, the poms were pathetic once again, followed by more beers and barbie. Best bit about the cricket was they plasyed Sam Kecovic's (sp?) national address in full which was hilarious. That is, if you eat lamb! LOL

Ok, who didn't have a Barbie and excessive beer/alcohol today? Had a barbie, Sam Kekovich's "islamb" chops, hehe... BBQ chicked chutney... mmmmm!

Watched the cricket.... poor POMs. All out for 111, pretty pathetic. Hayden was playing pretty crap, like it was test cricket, no guts. Too bad Ponting didn't get that six at the end.

Had fireworks in my locality. About 13,000 people turned up.

They even played one of my tunes during the voice overs in between each firework session.
