Just got my tilapia today my tank had formed some good algae. When should I start feeding?

what are your water readings? (ph, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and temp)

or are you going the "wing it" route? (i've been seeing lots of these lately.. not sure why)

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20 ppm

I did fish less cycling for couple weeks while plants were growing. I said my ammonia and nitrite are zero they are at the lowest level not actually zero. Temperature is 82

If you have established plants start feeding regularly now.

I fed them all they could eat in 5 minutes twice a day. Small amounts more often is better than throwing alot in and have some of it get sucked into the system......

A week in re-evaluate based on common sense and your levels.
