Looking good Lyndon. I love the frog in the pipe picture. He looked very pale, luckily you found him and saved him :thumbright: I can't tell what type he is, sorry.

Thank everyone...
Just the one pump Charlie...

I have some RDWC plans rolling around in my head,
What sort of flow is required through a bed and if it it recirculating do you need the bubbles underneath for the plant roots?
Add can you keep yabbies in the bottom of the beds?

Lyndon

Here are the wooden boxes I can get from work for nothing, they are 10m by 48cm x 45cm, I'm thinking I can cut them in 2 and brace the 2 exposed ends. roll out some pond liner and secure it all.
I have extra capacity in my sump pump to feed the DWC troughs.

We usually send them to the tip....

As of Tuesday i'll be on holidays, for a month! :headbang:
Should have 2000L+ DWC system and a strawberry tower completed by then... Well thats my goal...
All after I clean the shed out though :?

Couple of questions...
If I have a partially shaded system will a hot house be benifical to it?

Ok holidays are over, how's the new extension going? Are you running everything of the two original FT and how are you pumping water to your strawberry towers if they are installed. Certainly looking good. Cheers

Holidays have only started, 2nd day in...
Still have to 2 FT's 1 with english perch and 1 with trout. See signature
I have a larger pump in the 2nd system which has a tee on the pump. It will feed the strawberry tower, then gravity feed back to the sump or feed to the DWC.
