I bought the last Trial System from BYAP today, very happy to have it and will collect it next week when it is ready. Have to get to now and prep a place to put it. I'll convert it into a flood and drain system. Might run some Silver Perch in it as I like them, and I can have fish at various stages of growth with out having to worry about them eating each other.

Pictures to follow in the next few weeks as this comes together. :flower:

Nice to get a cycled system.
Certainly takes the hassle out of a new startup.
Silvers will be good. Well done.

Got one grow bed up and running

Dwarf bean, Fennel, Pok Choy and silver beet in this grow bed 1 June 2012.

You will also notice in the pics a grow bed stand and hydroton, there is also a grow bed that didn't make it to the pics, this will all go up next week I hope.

Still need to source some fish, Silver Perch is my preference.

Any way there it is. :flower:

Great!
If you still need to source Silver Perch, try Troutman on this forum. Last I heard he still had plenty for sale, plus he will deliver which means they arrive safe and sound!
