Well, have the little tower system set up that I showed pics of before, been dosing that with ammonia so make sure it is cycled up so we can move some fish over soon.

Got the drain line run from the new 1000 gallon tank out to a sump tank. Will need to get the pump plumbing from sump back up to fish tank and some filter media to through in the sump to start cycling while I finish the tower troughs, drains, and then work on the tower plumbing.

Started seeds a few days ago. Edible flowers, swiss chard, basil and parsley will probably be my primary focus until temps cool down enough for lettuce again in the fall.

Found a guy to deliver mushroom compost for the dirt gardens. I think I'll also have him pick up a load of gravel for me as well so I can get some media beds set up.

Tomorrow will put a big push on getting the big tower AP system set up so we can start moving some fish soon been having to work around rain and storms a lot lately which really bums me out since I don't have the rain water collection installed yet!!!!!

No, since these systems will be "commercial" I figured the hummonia would have to go to our personal compost for our personal garden. I'm using proline Ammonium Chloride for this initial dosing and cycling before the fish move over.

I did make a little progress last night and today.

I got the trough frame finished and the cook cut the roll of liner in half (this project is using half of a 100' by 6' durascrim roll.)
And I lined the troughs.

Had the neighbor boys who have been doing some work for us dig me a trench from the fish tank to the sump and I was able to get the fish tank drain plumbing placed.

But it all seems a bit small from this angle

I have temporary plumbing from the sump up to the fish tank so now the water is pumping from the sump to the fish tank and flowing back down the biggggg pipe.

So I guess I should run out and do a bit of water testing to see where we are at.

Tomorrow will hopefully get the troughs drains plumbed to the sump and start getting the tower support bars installed then will be on to the supply plumbing.
But gotta take the cat to the vet and still have to make daily stops over to the old place until we get the fish moved.

It's a catch 22, you need to get the system built so you can bring the fish over, but all your time is spent traveling to take care of the fish. Is there anyone you can delegate the fish care to?

I sometimes delegate it but his time is pretty valuable too.
And we have skipped a day here and there but that usually results in the next trip being more work.

Work, work, work work......... Keep it up TC... I'm still soo jealous of the space you have, and just the fact that your getting to set up new systems.... Setting up new systems is so exciting.. :)
